At the SF Globe, we are on the lookout for the best stories of the web. When we found and heard of AliceAnn's story about her son Jameson, we knew we had to write about it.

Jameson was born on January 2012 with syndromic craniosynostosis, a condition that alters an infant's skull bone structure. As a result, his appearance wasn't the same as other children.

AliceAnn's message is not just about her son but to every child in the world who ever has been bullied as a result of being different. AliceAnn shares an important message that we can all learn from.

The following is text from AliceAnn Meyer's blog:

From the SF Globe, we applaud AliceAnn's bravery and courage in writing this piece. It's true that too few people dare to speak out and take action. We need to break down the barriers that exist between people. Don't judge a book by its cover. Got out there and introduce yourself to someone new, regardless of what they might look like from the outside. You just might meet someone that might be your best friend.
