Shlomo Rechnitz, a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist, was moved to generosity when he encountered a large group of soldiers stuck at an airport in Shannon, Ireland. According to Aol, the group of 400 members was waiting out a layover when Rechnitz spotted them eating their dinners out of paper bags. Rechnitz took it upon himself to thank the soldiers for their service and tell them that he'd be paying for their dinner that evening.
The following video shows footage of Rechnitz addressing the crowd of soldiers. The businessman expresses his gratitude to the soldiers for their service and then announces that he's giving each of them $50 to buy themselves a nice dinner while waiting out the layover. According to the video's YouTube description, Rechnitz got permission to buy the soldiers dinner from the group's commander before making his announcement.
