Chinese citizens are singing the praises of a bus driver who suffered fatal injuries when a chunk of iron smashed through his windshield and hit him in the side and chest. There was nothing the driver could do to avoid the metal crashing into his bus, but what he did afterwards is truly admirable.
Although he was gravely injured, driver Wu Bin was able to take the bus out of gear, stop the bus safely, get up from his seat, and help others remain calm. Since the bus was on the freeway, Wu Bin was worried passengers would dart off of the bus into traffic.
Most others simply would have worried about their own injuries, but Wu Bin's selflessness was truly honorable and it should be esteemed and remembered.
