When you think of jobs that people consider heroic, what kinds of jobs do you think of? Most people might say doctor, police officer, fire fighter, etc. It's true, these professions are everyday superheroes, putting their lives on the line or working to save the lives of others around the clock.
Here's a job that you probably don't associate with heroism: bus driver. Municipal drivers aren't typically considered to be heroes, but most bus drivers aren't like Tim Watson. Tim found himself in a most unusual situation: soon after hearing the description of a boy kidnapped from a local library, Tim saw the very same boy get on his bus. The problem was, the boy wasn't alone.
The kidnapper got on the bus with the kidnapped child. Watson had heard the descriptions of the child on the radio, and after confirming the identity of the child worked to get police attention. Watson knew that if the kidnapper suspected anything was amiss, he'd probably get off the bus and might make an escape.
Using his phone, he was able to quietly coordinate efforts with local police to literally deliver the criminal into the arms of law enforcement! If it wasn't for this heroic driver, who knows what would have happened to that poor young boy. This man is worthy of praise! Kudos to you, Tim!
