Warning: the following PSA may be difficult for some viewers to watch.

While most Super Bowl commercials tend to be light-hearted and funny, the following ad is pretty sobering. Watch as NO MORE, an organization committed to ending domestic violence and sexual assault, depicts a woman calling 911 under the guise of ordering a pizza so as not to let her partner know who she's actually on the phone with. The 60-second clip doesn't visually depict any violence, yet the urgency of the phone call is truly chilling and advertisement's message is loud and clear.

NO MORE states on its Youtube page that this is "the first-ever Super Bowl commercial addressing domestic violence and sexual assault." Slate also reports that the NFL worked together with the NO MORE organization to create the TV spot following a controversy-filled season of domestic violence allegations. According to Slate, the advertisement is based on "a tale first published on Reddit last year by a former 911 dispatcher, who recalled taking a call from a woman who had feigned ordering a pizza in order to get police to respond to her home without tipping off her abuser."

We're glad to see the NFL step up and address this issue using a platform as large as the Super Bowl. What did you think of the ad? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below and make sure to share if you found its message as important as we did.
