Grab the tissues because there's a good chance this story will make you shed a few tears. Nobody ever forgets their wedding day, but for 11-year-old Josie Zetz, her special day will live on in a way much different than other weddings.

KTLA 5 News explains that Josie was not expecting to spend her birthday clad in a wedding dress with her father at her side. Josie's father was suffering from terminal pancreatic cancer and the family thought it important that he walk his little girl down the aisle before he passed away. This video highlights the beautiful day when 62-year-old Jim Zetz took his daughter's arm and escorted her to the altar in a charming backyard wedding. Led by a pastor, Jim placed a promise ring on Josie's finger and they were pronounced 'daddy and daughter.'

The love of a father is undoubtedly one of the most special bonds a girl will ever have in her life. It's clear that Josie was loved beyond measure by her dad. Jim passed away on July 11, 2014, a few short months after walking his daughter down the aisle.

My best wishes go out to Jim's family; losing a loved one is never easy, but the memories will live on forever. Josie's special day with her father will always be in her heart. Watch the video and share your thoughts in the comments section!
