This family from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania struggles every day with a battle against Canavan's Disease, a rare genetic disorder resulting in cerebral damage. Sadly, three out of the four children in the Coover family were diagnosed with this disease, and those diagnosed lose motor and intellectual ability. There's no cure and most children with this disease don't survive past the age of 10.

The Coover parents share their story in hopes of raising awareness and funding for Canavan's Disease. Watch their story below. Perhaps the most inspiring part about this is how brave their mom is despite what she is going through each and every day. She reminds the world that her daughters are still distinct people with different personalities, despite their condition.
