Elvis Summers is a man on a mission. Angered by the incredible amount of homelessness flooding the streets of Los Angeles, he's decided to take matters into his own hands by building tiny homes for the homeless in his area. He's even set up a gofundme account to help him succeed in his goal.
According to Summers, there's a huge misconception when it comes to homelessness in America. Due to the overwhelming numbers of homeless (according to endhomelessness.org there are 578,000 people experiencing homelessness at any given time) it is impossible to stereotype the homeless as just drug addict bums who "chose" to be without shelter, or who "did it to themselves."
