When William Gay was seven years old, his mother was killed after being domestically abused by his stepfather. The emotional scars he's had to deal with throughout his entire life could have derailed him, but he chose to rise above the pain he experienced as a child.

Today, William Gay is a professional football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers and is speaking out against domestic abuse. This video shows what he had to go through as a child whose relationship with his mother was unjustly cut short. If you share his dream to end domestic abuse, help spread his word.
