In this video, a hidden camera show examines how people react when an angry restaurant customer chastises an autistic child and his family. What the other diners don't know, however, is that the child, his family, and the rude man who goes off on them are all actors. This clip is a segment from a television show that creates social situations designed for onlookers to intervene called"What Would You Do?" The types of ethical dilemmas the show features force witnesses in public settings to question their perspectives on stereotypes and prejudices that run rampant in today's society. In this particular case, the actors portray a scenario in which an intolerant and frankly ignorant man criticizes the family of an autistic child for bringing him out in public and allowing him to "misbehave" while at the table. His statements are incredibly rude and misinformed, and luckily the other people in the restaurant act on the child's behalf.

Watch the gripping footage in the video below, and be sure to share your thoughts on the show with us in the comments section. What would you do if you overheard a similar conversation?
