At Morro Bay High School, the homecoming football game was much more than a game. During halftime the cheerleaders took to the middle of the field to perform their routine and entertain the night's crowd. All was well until an announcement rang out from the loud speaker. Seven-year-old Hayley McGregor, performing with the high school cheerleaders, heard the name of her father, who had been overseas in Afghanistan. The young girl hadn't seen her father, a United States Naval Officer, in roughly seven months. Immediately, Hayley's emotions got the best of her and her eyes filled with tears.

Excited, joyous, and surprised, Hayley runs over to her mother in a frenzy, who then points out her father. Hayley runs full speed ahead to her father's loving embrace. It's a moment that has you smiling ear-to-ear. Watch the video below to see the situation play out. We can't get enough of family reunion videos and this one is becoming a fast favorite.
