To earn the Expert Field Medical Badge issued by the United States Army, one must complete a number of requirements including both written and physical tests. The last event is a grueling 12-mile foot march that must be completed within three hours. It's a true testament to one's strength and determination.

The video below features CPT Sarah Cudd as she makes her way to the finish line of the 12-mile march. She stumbles and falls just a few yards short of the finish line, but the encouraging words of those around her motivate her to get up and finish the job. Here at SFG, we commend this young woman for her grit and willpower. What did you think? Let us know your thoughts and opinions on this article and be sure to share the video on Facebook!
