Terisa Siagatonu and Rudy Francisco wrote and performed this piece called "Sons." It's a piece of spoken word about rape culture in America, and it makes some incredibly powerful points about the problem with a system that teaches girls it's their responsibility not to get raped instead of teaching boys not to do it in the first place. It's a sensitive topic, for sure, but these two have a very important message to get across, and they do a wonderful job of telling it like it is. They ask us all to be accountable for what we teach our children and to be responsible for the mentality that our children adopt as they grow up. We love telling the stories of people who are actively seeking change so that future generations may live in a better world. These two are bravely speaking up about problems that need to be addressed, and it's well worth the listen.
