McDonald's is indisputably the most ubiquitous food chain in countries across the world.

The problem of hunger is nearly as prevalent across the globe as this ever-present food chain, and the following piece combines both in a way that could be considered ironic. It's a short film, but the events could easily present themselves in reality.

The World Food Programme (WFP) is an United Nations organization with a mission to "to bring the issue of hunger to the centre of the international agenda," and they estimate that nearly one in nine people across the world don't eat enough to be healthy. That's a startling statistic, and it's even more disheartening when it's brought to light in the manner below. It's a particularly devastating epidemic to solve, considering that (as the WFP also notes) the world  produces enough food to feed everyone. Even though it's a fictional portrayal, it's nice to see someone doing the right thing when a child is in need.
