John Helinski was living on the streets of Tampa, Florida, after someone stole all his personal belongings — including his identification. He got back on his feet though, after an incredible series of events.

He lived out of cardboard boxes for three years, but he finally found his way to a community housing center, hoping that it'd be a move in the right direction. He had no way of knowing who he'd meet upon joining the facility. It was a case worker and a police officer who would end up changing his life forever. It started with his identity; they were able to get John both an identification and a social security card. It doesn't stop there, though. Watch the clip below to see what the true catalyst for John's improvement was, and while you're at it, tell us what you thought in the comment section down below. As always, remember to share this wonderful story with your friends on Facebook!
