This might be the most impactful piece of security footage I've ever seen. The man in white has been taken into custody by police, and at the start of this clip he's being booked. The two-plus hour video below has been clipped to highlight the moment about to be disclosed.

Officer Franklin Foulks was at his workstation when he collapsed unexpectedly. It didn't take long before Jamal Rutledge (the man being booked) jumped to his feet and began to get the attention of the other officers. It took some kicking and shouting, but they arrived and began to save Officer Foulks' life. Staff members at Broward Health Medical Center, where the officer was treated, pointed to Jamal's decision to act as a huge reason for Officer Foulks surviving this incident.

Jamal was the hero of the hour, and he'll be publicly recognized for his deeds at Fort Lauderdale's Commission Meeting next week, on January 21st.

How would you have acted if you were in Jamal's shoes? Let us know in the comments below, or chime in on Facebook!
