This short film was made to shed light on our foster care system. There are many good and bad aspects of the foster system, and this short runs you through it all. The filmmakers wanted to show the perspective of the child going through the process of being taken from birth parents and placed into new families, often separated from their siblings.

The filmmakers make no claim of fully understanding the psychological battle that children go through as they navigate their way through foster care, but they do hope that the range of anger, sadness, fear, and finally, hope that are showcased in this short film shed a bit of light on what life is like for a foster child. These children are put through the ringer; they are emotionally drained and have experienced hardships that no loving parent would ever wish upon a child. This poignant short film does an incredible job of pulling at your heartstrings. It aims to demonstrate that these children are not bad; they do not misbehave because they are naughty, they misbehave because the world is a treacherous place to them.

At some times, the story is hard to watch. This little girl is exposed to heart-breaking situations, but I assure you that the ending will restore your faith and give you hope.

The filmmakers say: "We made ReMoved with the desire that it would be used to serve in bringing awareness, encourage, and be useful in foster parent training, and raising up foster parents."
