One of the most inspiring sights a person can witness is someone selflessly risking their own safety to help another. This goes doubly for when the endangered party is totally unable to help itself.

The video below is a perfect example. Watch as a woman crosses a busy highway because she spotted an injured dog on the side of the road. Not one car stops to assist her - and it doesn't deter her one bit. Seeing someone so passionate about helping those in need jump-started my own desire to do the same; today I'm going to do at least one thing for someone less fortunate. Will you, too?
