A lot of people can relate to the feeling of looking at magazine covers and wishing they looked like those perfectly airbrushed models. Well, the women in this video were granted just that opportunity, enjoying the luxury of a photo-shoot only to have their prints professionally retouched. Surprisingly, rather than preferring the "cover model" versions of themselves, these ladies felt a bit uncomfortable seeing all their imperfections being wiped away. They didn't realize they actually liked their freckles and wrinkles until they saw their faces without them.

This poses such an interesting question: while we're bombarded by media images of unattainable physical perfection, would we actually want to look like that? Here at SF Globe, we come from the school of thought that imperfections are what make us interesting (and beautiful) individuals and we simply can't imagine ourselves without them. Rather than wish away scars, wrinkles, cellulite, and whatever other sources of insecurities we all possess, perhaps we should begin wearing them as badges of honor, reveling in the unique beauty they give us!

What are your thoughts on the matter? Tell us in the comments below and make sure to share if you found this video as powerful as we did.
